Where have I been....

Can't believe that the last time I blogged was last year. 2010 was so busy! I feel like we had so many people coming and then we were going so many places so many times. We it is 2011 and I am starting to feel a sense of routine setting in. Finally!! It has been a whirl wind of fun, though and I did get lots of pics....So, I'll be posting back dated events to share.
Greg is in school full time right now at the University of Utah getting a second Degree in Economics. Jaden is doing amazing in school, great at Piano and has shown an interest and TALENT in Basketball (I'm so excited). Jenna is growing so fast, her legs are getting long and thin. She is learning about independence and making choices. I love love love talking with her and seeing the wheels turn. She also still thrives on attention and is an amazing reader. Ella, I still carry around like a little baby, cuz she is. But she is not....she loves dressing herself now and is slowing growing out of her leotard days. Yes, she used to wear her swim suit or purple unitard or leotard....everyday. I would dress her and suprise....she goes back into her room and stripes down suits up and then puts back on the clothes I put on her to disguise herself. But mother always knows.

Mother's Day

This morning was great. It is mother's Day. Ella woke us up to get Greg out of bed to make French Toast & Fruit, the girls helped. I got to shower, self-manicure & pedicure, and put on some moisturizer. Ella came in and offered to paint my 2nd set of 5 toes a different color and when I told her that I wanted them all the same color she reverted and convinced me that multicolor was not the "IN" right now. Greg came in my bathroom and told me that breakfast had been ready for 20 minutes.....He then proceeded to reheat the French Toast on the fry pan. And then he sat by himself cuz he could get the girls in from there morning outside trip to find more bugs for their collection. A little taste of motherhood morning frustration...for him. I love the GUY. He got me a very large and special Silver Flower Ring and some earings to go with it.... I love it when I get to pic what I want. I think I had the behind the counter lady working going crazy as I tried on, examined all the jewelery. Wait I remember her trying on every single ring I choose first to double check the ring size...I hope she had as much fun as I did. MOM and Gloria.....I think of you both everyday as I serve and caretake for my family. I remember being a child very well and now understand all the behind the scene effort that goes into loving a child. Thank you both for being great women. P.S thanks to my beautiful girls for the paintings, coupons, and Jaden unloading and Jenna clearing the table. xxoo

Spring Bee

THE SPRING BEE is here buzzing around cleaning up the kids play area. Kids are so creative! This is Ella outside with Jenna hiding behind the tree, playing together... All three of my girls play so well together. I just love listening to them and watching they run around, slide, and get stuck in the trees. Ella just came in and said, "Auntie (to me, I guess that is cuz Jenna is her mom right now) Can you zip me up and wipe my nose? I gotta blow my nose." And back out she buzzed!

Cousin Reunion

Didn't get alot of pics here...but, on sunday before we left California we had a mini cousin reunion with the Poplawski's. My mom's sister's kids. They we're our best friends growing up and we had so many good memories with them. Jill, Troy, his kids, & Ashley came to my mom's. It was nice to see that they were are doing OK. We haven't seen much of them since my aunt Margie divorced her husband long long ago.
