To all of those of you who we didn't say goodbye to....I'm sorry. I shelby take the blame. With the unfortunate circumstance we were June 2009; knowing we were going to being moving from our house on Olive Point way at the end of Summer 2009 and that our AC Unit on the house just Died I told Greg it was time to leave the NEST. Some do it at 18, some at 21, us....31 years old. Before we moved to our house on Olive Point way I told Greg that I wanted to buy an RV and drive accross the USA. I've wanted to move out of state (and see the world) for several years now. Our businesses and love for our Extended Families & TruFitness have kept us in Roseville.
An opportunity for Greg came available on June 2, 2009 to go to Austin Texas and sell alarm systems for Pinicle Alarm with his brothers and their families....I had 95% of the house packed and ready to go by June 4, 2009. I had made the desicion and was excited (not scared) to go to Texas for the summer. Sorry to all those friends and family members that we had to cancel vacation plans. Greg, took a bit longer to get as excited as I was...We have an alarm company in Sacramento area, he knowing that sales would be down in area due to economy partnered off with another local company. Making sure all our exsisting customers would be taken care of, great owner, good company. But he knew that we would do better elsewhere (fyi- Austin texas economy grew this year by 4%)
Day 1 we drove from Roseville, California to Gilbert Arizona. The girls had plenty of movies & snacks. we luv road trips! I brought lots of books and things to keep me occupied while Greg drove.....funny thing...I had my eyes on the road the whole time. I'm like that dog with it's nose glues to the window, taking in all the new smells and views. We stayed at Jason & Lindsay's house for the night and then drove 24 hours and arrived at our destination Cedar Park, Texas at 7am, Sunday morning June 7, 2009. I'll admit..Greg and I had our first Rock STAR drinks on the second leg of that drive. But it was exciting! I drove from 2 or 3am til we hit Austin. It was great to see the city as the sun came up. I'll never forget the tall buildings, rolling freeways, the smell, the feel of the air, and the black birds song as I got out of the car at Walmart to get cleaning supplies and a new vacuume for my apartment.
Yes, the people living in our upstairs apartment were fired and kicked out the night before, or so I am told, and the apartment needed a good cleaning before we/I could rest my head. I just rolled Greg around as I settled us in. #1702, I loved it the minute I finished cleaning it head to toe inside and out. I think it is just over 1000sq. ft. But it is clean in ten or twenty minutes. I love a clean house no matter the size. Can u tell I like to clean!
Well since that day the girls and I have been swimming almost everyday, I have a tan to die for...and I use spf 50. Ella and her hot pink with white ruffles gets complements often and loves to jump in under water. The girls describe the pool best. Jenna, "It has an Island in the middle and lots of waterfalls."
Greg is doing great.....He is really serious about his work. And when he comes home it's a late night snack or dinner with me and either a movie or t.v series on Netfix on our computer. He sleeps in a bit the next morning, off to the gym, play time with girls then meetings, lunch at home then off for the rest of the day. we are loving being out here with our 4 sweet cousins and my beautiful sister-in-laws (I don't see my bro. in-laws very much, but Greg says they r great).
